Arapahoe Basin, or A-Basin, has one of the longest ski seasons in North America, open from October to June and, sometimes, even into July. A friendly competition exists with Loveland Ski Area to see who can be the first to open for the season. Arapahoe Basin is mostly known for advanced and expert terrain, but it also has runs for the novice and intermediate skier, as well as a children’s program. With the addition of the Montezuma Bowl, there is twice the natural beauty to explore; more high-alpine groomed runs, bowls, chutes and glades, all serviced by our new quad chair lift.
