Summit County, just over an hour west of Denver, is blessed with five world-class ski resorts: Loveland, Breckenridge, Keystone, A-basin, and Copper Mountain.

Breckenridge Ski Resort - Ski Rental Delivery

With four major peaks and more than 2,300 acres, Breckenridge is consistently ranked as one of the top ski resorts in the U.S. The Imperial Express Superchair quad lift on Peak 8 is one of the highest chairlifts in North America and delivers skiers to tremendous bowl and steep skiing opportunities. There also are plenty of well-groomed trails for beginner and intermediate skiers. The town of Breckenridge has been around for over 100 years and offers a very rich and varied nightlife.

Just down I-70 from Breckenridge, is Copper Mountain with almost 2,500 acres of skiable terrain supporting 126 trails designed for skiers of all abilities. Experts love the deep powder stashes on the mountain’s wide open back bowl area.

Don’t forget to try Keystone. It has skiable terrain of more than 3,000 acres spread over three mountains. Keystone is popular for its night skiing as well as its long runs suitable for beginner and intermediate skiers. Experts will love the A51 Terrain Park, remarkable tree skiing and the guided Keystone Adventure Tours in the expert-only Independence Bowl.

A-Basin offers lots of above-timberline bowls and faces as well as more than 100 trails. With a vertical rise of almost 2,300 feet, the skiing tops out at 13,050 feet. Be aware that 90% of the terrain is rated at intermediate or higher.

Last, but not least, is Loveland. There’s lots to love at Loveland…starting with an average of 400+ inches of snow per season. Then consider the 93 trails, 1,800 skiable acres and runs up to two miles long. After you try it, you’ll love Loveland too!
